The GLEN V1 frame is a solid base to build a versatile and long lasting bike. The frameset comprises a DT Swiss RWS through axle. The handle is plug in type, which means you can run it with a quick release lever plugged in or pull out the lever and operate the axle with an allen key. The frame is delivered with 148 mm rear spacing to fit for Boost hub width.
If you want to run it with 142 mm hub spacing, please contact us.

For air shocks the pressure should be adjusted in a way that results in 30% sag, read at the shock. Typically this is possible for rider weights up to 125 kg, without exceeding the recommenden max. pressure of the shock.
The table presents the recommended spring rate for coil shocks. These might vary depending on the setup of the compression damping circuit setting of the shock and the riding style. Again we recommend to set sag at 30% of the shock stroke.
|User Manual and Bike Classification||
Before starting your first ride, please read the user guide.
To describe the intended use of this bike we use the bike classification according to ASTM. The allowed modes of operation are designated to categories and these are described below. We engineer the bikes to withstand the loads that can be expected for the category they are designed for. This includes real world and lab tests. The usage of a bike in a higher category is dangerous and not allowed.
The GLEN is designed for category 4 and the components are selected accordingly.
Using different components may result in a lower classification.
